Lobuche East Summit with Disabled Athlete

On 26 May 2019, I was pleased to escort Multiple Schlerosis sufferer Bobby Bajram to the summit of Mt Lobuche East (6119 metres) in Nepal.  It was an extremely tough challenge for this disabled athlete, complicated by a sprained ankle during the trek and the effects of multiple schlerosis itself being exacerbated by the thin air at high altitude.  But with amazing support from our team of Sheraps we were able to trek to Everest basecamp and Kala Pattar and, with that acclimatisation completed, ascend Lobuche East
