Just back from a week long reunion bushwalk with my old Venturer (Senior Scouts) friends on the Overland Track in Tasmania. The usual wet weather didn’t detract at all from the stunning wilderness or impact on a really fun trip with friends with whom I last shared this experience 36 years ago! Heavy cloud for most of the walk occasionally lifted and we managed to grab a quick but very windy ascent of Mt Pelion East along the way. Great times!!
