Just competed in my first Sydney to Hobart Yacht race.  I’ve been wanting to do that for years.  I was lucky enough to be invited to join the team AusReo, a 47.7 foot Benetau First.   After a hectic start we had some lovely sailing with favourable winds (some of the time). We ended up getting into Hobart on the 30th December.  in addition to the photos below, here’s a link to a youtube video with some footage from our yacht during the race.
